FAQ
What is the default thread if no upgrade is selected?
We use either nylon or polyester thread, depending on availability at the time of stitching.
What is the difference between nylon/polyester thread and linen thread?
Nylon and polyester threads are synthetic, while linen thread is made from natural fibers derived from flax plants. Linen fibers absorb dyes more effectively, resulting in more vibrant colors that enhance the beauty of saddle stitching.
Why is there a 2 to 8-week lead time, and why is the range so broad?
All of our products are handmade to order. Each panel and pocket is carefully selected, cut, assembled, and stitched together. We take pride in delivering only the highest quality, without cutting corners. When our workload increases, we may need to extend lead times accordingly. The range of 2 to 8 weeks (with longer times for larger items) reflects the varying demand at the time of your purchase. For the most accurate lead time, please check the current estimate on our homepage.
Where will my personalization be placed if I select 'no logo'?
If you choose personalization without a logo, your text will be placed where the logo would typically go.
Where will my personalization be placed if I select both personalization and logo?
If you opt for both personalization and the company logo, the logo will remain in its default position, and your personalized text will appear on the front panel—bottom right corner for bi-folds and compact bi-folds, or front bottom/centered for card cases. If you would like the personalization to be placed in a different location, please contact us immediately after placing your order. Please note that additional charges may apply for custom placement.
Can you explain the difference between unlined, semi-lined, and fully-lined wallets?
-
Unlined:
- Bi-fold: The "flesh" (unfinished) side of the leather is visible in the notes/cash compartment.
- Compact bi-fold: The unfinished side is visible along the spine.
- In both, all pockets and under compartments are unlined, revealing the unfinished side when inserting cards or cash.
-
Semi-Lined:
- Bi-fold: Only the notes/cash compartment is lined with leather.
- Compact bi-fold: Only the spine is lined with leather.
- The rest of the wallet, including pockets and compartments, remains unlined, with the unfinished side visible.
-
Fully-Lined:
- Bi-fold and compact bi-fold: The entire wallet is lined with leather, covering pockets, compartments, and the notes/cash compartments.
- Card Cases: The whole wallet is lined with leather, including all compartments.
