The crafting of the California tote bag...work in progress!

Novonappa® calf leather is very famous for its color, aroma, its peculiar flesh design (suede-like), and the patina growth. There's only one tannery that makes it, and no others can replace it, and that is Tanneries Haas located in France.

Although this leather needs extra attention during crafting time, which adds more lead time from production to completion; but every minute spent with this leather is well worth the time as it's challenging yet fulfilling.

Shown here in the photo is the body of the tote bag. We saddle stitched the rim to the bag and add initials using the hot stamping technique in clear foil.
